The iconic Point Reyes Lighthouse, located at the western tip of Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, California, stands proudly against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. Established in 1870, this historic lighthouse features a first-order Fresnel lens and was automated in 1975, now managed by the National Park Service. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the crashing waves below. During the migration season, Gray Whales can be spotted as they travel between Alaska and Baja, Mexico. This serene setting, especially at dusk, offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and maritime history.
